Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is an Spanish Flamenco music singer. Involved in the margins of popular and traditional music since her teens she also delves into other genres such as the hip hop soul genre and trap. Her voice has been described by no less a talent than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp and with a bite that is similar to older versions. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist It also topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded a Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The set began to be released in conjunction with the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. Motomami, Rosalia's album that won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to win won the Latin Album of the Year win twice.
