MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin popular music scene. In 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. It reached the number 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year, he joined forces with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina that year. He appeared later in 2021 as a duo with TINI on her most streamed song Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, featuring the hit single La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born in a home with a music program. His mother and brother were also musicians. In interviews, Turizo stated that music is a must. He began playing the saxophone, guitar, Ukulele, and piano while an infant. The initial goal was to be a vet However, his brother Julian persuaded him to learn singing with the help of a Cuban instructor. It was the result that he realized his talent for singing and transformed his career path.
